“Matthew... You have a God given gift. You must continue to grow and keep your creative mind open. May God give the same gift he has given me in the music business; LONGEVITY. Couple this with Patience, Endurance, and Perseverance. Always thank Yahweh giving Him the Glory and Honor.”
— Maestro Delbert Taylor
MTech is a music producer, musician, and engineer from Los Angeles California.
Growing up in church, he developed his skills as a multi-instrumentalist, exploring classical, gospel, jazz, rock, and electronic music. With no access to a studio at 13, he began producing on a Casio keyboard and a voice recorder. By 17, he was already recording and producing for independent artists in LA.
After earning his B.S. in Recording Arts from Full Sail University, he moved to Atlanta, securing his first major TV placement on FOX’s Star and working on The Four: Battle for Stardom as a rehearsal pianist and arranger.
Returning to LA in 2022, MTech focused on producing, performing, and engineering live sound. In early 2023, his manager and childhood best friend, Gary Biddy, introduced him to Sounwave, leading to major opportunities. This connection resulted in three placements on Kali Uchis’ Grammy-nominated Orquídeas and contributions to Blxst’s album I’ll Always Come Find You.
MTech’s momentum continued with a production credit on Kendrick Lamar’s Euphoria, setting the stage for even bigger opportunities. In 2024, he produced on six tracks for Kendrick Lamar’s highly anticipated project GNX.
At the top of 2025, MTech signed his first publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing. In the same year, he was awarded by BMI as a Top Producer of the year. At the 2026 Grammy Awards, MTech received his first 3 Grammy’s for Record of the Year, Best Rap Album of the Year, & Best Melodic Rap Performance.
With credits spanning albums, television, and film, MTech is establishing himself as a versatile force in the industry—and he’s just getting started.
